Law Lecturer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced, talented and highly motivated Lecturer of Law to join our Business & Technology Learning Area. The successful candidate will be able to deliver and assess on our Level 3 Access to Law (part of Agored's Access to Humanities & Social Science Diplomas).

• Teach and assess on A Level Law and related Law subjects within vocational specifications e.g. Business is desirable.
• Deliver high quality teaching and learning, effectively monitor and track learner progress, creating a positive environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic, social and personal development.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, contributing effectively to curriculum development, extracurricular activity and assisting with the planning and marketing of courses.
• Deliver and assess on all curriculum identified.
• Work flexibly to meet needs of the curriculum.
• Be enthusiastic and inspirational in taking these subjects forward within the college curriculum offering.

• Possess a relevant Degree in Law or related degree.
• Experience teaching A Level Law essential.
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification or willing to work towards this qualification.

• FTE Salary: £26,386 - £51,931 per annum. Permanent Gower College Swansea approximately 8 - 12 hours per week (You will have no fixed working hours, and will work on an ad hoc basis, provide sickness cover or temporary cover). Fixed term until May 2026. You will be paid a month in arrears e.g. any hours that you work in July will be paid in August, and so forth.
  
  £18.23 - £35.89 per hour;
  Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £26,386 - £51,931 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
