Supply Teacher – Swansea, Llanelli, and Neath
We are seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to support primary and secondary schools across Swansea, Llanelli, and Neath.
This role offers flexible supply options, including temporary, long-term, and permanent positions, with competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE.
In this role, you will work in inclusive educational settings, including ALN units, to support pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN). You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom activities, and provide 1:1 or small group support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing. Supporting pupils with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex physical or medical needs will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Candidates with a teaching qualification or experience in teaching are desirable. Previous experience working with children or young people in educational or care settings, especially in ALN units, is preferred. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willingness to register is required, along with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, which Vetro can assist with.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and committed to promoting inclusive education and positive behaviour in line with school policies.
Benefits of working with Vetro include weekly PAYE pay, flexible working arrangements via the Vetro Mobile App, free accredited CPD and safeguarding training, and dedicated support from a local consultant.
This Supply Teacher role is integral to helping schools meet their SEN and ALN objectives, working directly with pupils in ALN units to support those with autism, SEMH, speech and language, and other special educational needs. The position will be based across Swansea, Llanelli, and Neath, covering various primary and secondary schools in the region. This opportunity is suitable for those who are passionate about making a positive impact in children's education and have experience working with ALN pupils.
