Position: Assistant to the Technology Department

Salary: Level 2 Grade 3 SCP 3-5

Curriculum and Resource Support for the Design Technology Department

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people for the following post:

- Curriculum Resource Support

32 hours per week / 41 weeks per year

Dwr y Felin is a highly successful oversubscribed 11 to 16 comprehensive school with excellent facilities serving the centre of Neath. The school has an excellent reputation for its academic and pastoral well‑being.

The Governing Body is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard‑working support staff member to the Design and Technology Department.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head of technology to ensure resources, machinery and equipment are well maintained and ready to be used as per the curriculum needs.
  • Maintain daily maintenance logs and general risk assessments within the department.
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons under the direction and support of the Head of Department.
