Position: PZN Youth CIC: Youth Worker x 2

Hours:

8 (0.2 FTE) or 16 hours (0.4 FTE)

Salary: £29,120 (pro rata)

Do you have significant experience and/or qualifications in working with children or young people and are able to work in a flexible, creative way?

At PZN Youth we are seeking to recruit one or two youth workers to deliver professional, creative and engaging youth work sessions and activities for 11- 17 year olds. Due to the age of the young people we work with, applicants must be over 21 years old.

About the Role:
  • The role would include working on Friday evenings at our youth club in Penzance, as well as Tues evenings and Thursday daytime, with the potential of other work during the daytime or after school as well as different youth sessions and trips during the school holidays.
  • PZN Youth CIC is committed to high standards of safeguarding and all successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or be signed up to the DBS update service and will be expected to have or complete a level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
  • New staff will be provided with a training induction into the organisation and be supported to understand and adhere to the policies and protocols used within PZN Youth.
  • Potential opportunity to train as a youth worker ( level 2 and 3 ) 1 day per month in Truro
