Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is a long-term, full-time position offering the opportunity to become a valued member of the school team and make a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.
The school is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting children across the classroom, working closely with the class teacher, and helping pupils reach their full potential.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy and general classroom learning
Helping to maintain a positive and structured learning environment
Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
The Ideal Candidate :
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
A positive, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to support pupils with different learning needs
Reliable and committed to a long-term role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
