At Hendrefoilan Primary School, we are a warm, inclusive and forward‑thinking school at the heart of our community, committed to providing rich, authentic learning experiences that inspire every child to thrive. We are seeking two excellent Teachers to join our school.
The post holder will be required to teach any primary age range class.
The successful candidate will- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a sound understanding of how children learn
- Demonstrate a commitment to engaging, authentic learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Wales
- Lead by example and contribute positively to school improvement and new initiatives
- Be innovative, reflective and adaptable within a fast‑paced and evolving environment
- Place pupil wellbeing, inclusion and equity at the heart of their practice
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team ethos
- Be a positive and motivating practitioner who can inspire, support and appropriately challenge pupils
- Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
- A supportive and forward‑thinking staff team
- Opportunities for quality professional learning and development
- A school culture that prioritises wellbeing, inclusion and community engagement
- Enthusiastic, engaging pupils who are eager to learn
- A commitment to rich, authentic learning experiences inspired by the Curriculum for Wales
- A strong sense of community and positive partnerships with families and the wider school community
Applicants should, in addition, highlight other skills, expertise and previous teaching experience they could bring to the role. Your letter of application should be no more than two sides of A4.
Please note, as part of the process, shortlisted candidates will be expected to undertake a lesson observation and a formal interview.
