Newton Primary School is situated in the village of Newton, in the area of Mumbles and at the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school has extensive grounds consisting of playgrounds, sports fields and wooded areas. The physical environment of the school supports excellent opportunities for outdoor learning. We are extremely proud of our children, staff, and school.

The experienced and dedicated teaching team are committed to providing a high standard of education in a safe and caring environment. We aim to provide excellent learning opportunities and pastoral care necessary to facilitate their development to happy, healthy, and confident individuals, prepared for the excitement of life ahead. The children, staff and Governors of Newton Primary are looking for a passionate, innovative, and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our happy, caring, and inclusive school.

They will need the necessary professional skills to build on the solid foundations and excellent relationships that already exist in the school, continuing the high standards and fulfilling our motto of "Discovery, Learning, Friendship". The successful candidate must be dynamic, resilient and innovative and will help to grow the existing vision for the school, whilst immersing themselves in the school community.
