Governors are seeking to appoint a well qualified, enthusiastic and committed member of staff to join our Expressive Arts AoLE. The successful applicant will be versatile and flexible, providing high quality teaching and learning in Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will also support the whole school Literacy and Numeracy strategy through your teaching.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging Art lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
- Plan, assess and evaluate student progress in line with curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Art into cross‑curricular projects.
- Support literacy and numeracy development within your Art sessions.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and creative learning environment.
To be considered you must demonstrate:
- Classroom experience in Art at Key Stage 3/4.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Evidence of commitment to inclusive practice and student well‑being.
- Ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary learning community.
