Job Overview

This full‑time position is for an English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a mainstream secondary school in Swansea. The successful teacher will plan and deliver high‑quality lessons, manage the classroom effectively, and support students in achieving their academic potential.

• Plan and deliver lessons for KS3 and KS4 that encourage student engagement.
• Maintain excellent classroom management.
• Encourage students to achieve their full academic potential.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to develop curriculum and assessment strategies.

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
• A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
