Children's Social & Emotional Support Worker Swansea September 2026 – July 2027 Full-Time | Long-Term | Monday – Friday (Term Time Only) £92.63 per day

We are seeking a resilient, compassionate and positive Social & Emotional Support Worker to work within a nurturing primary school setting in Swansea, supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will work closely with pupils who may:
Struggle with emotional regulation Display challenging or distressed behaviours Find it difficult to express their needs

Your role is to look beyond the behaviour, helping children understand their emotions and develop positive strategies

A typical day could include:
Building meaningful, trusting relationships Supporting 1:1 and small group activities Helping pupils regulate emotions and feel calm Supporting structured routines and transitions Working with staff to implement tailored support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
