• Demonstrates successful experience of whole‑school leadership, including managing staff performance, developing teams and building leadership capacity.
• Has the ability to motivate, support and challenge staff, addressing underperformance and promoting continuous professional learning.
• Builds effective relationships with staff, governors, families and the wider community, promoting the school as a central part of the community.
• Works collaboratively with partners, including other schools and agencies, to support ongoing improvement.

Applicants are required to hold the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and to a “Safeguarding is Everybody’s Business” principle as per Swansea Council.
