The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Anglesey who require an alternative approach to education.

You'll deliver 1:1 tuition to learners who may be unable to access mainstream education, are awaiting a school placement or require additional support to re-engage with learning.

The role involves much more than delivering lessons. Building trust, encouraging confidence and helping learners develop positive attitudes towards education are all key parts of the position.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

* Experience working with children or young people

* Previous 1:1 tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience

* Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners

* QTS or equivalent qualification (desirable)

* Excellent relationship-building skills

To be eligible, you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

* Provide two professional child-related references
