Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in Swansea that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisor.
The school provides a supportive learning environment for secondary-aged pupils, and candidates with a particular subject specialism are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role
The school is seeking a Cover Supervisor, with full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term opportunities available.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-planned lessons and work
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Keep pupils focused and engaged with their learning
Support pupils across a range of subjects
The Successful Cover Supervisor Will Have:
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils – desirable
A subject specialism – desirable
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication skills
A confident and adaptable approach
A willingness to support pupils across a range of subjects
