1:1 Teaching Assistant - Fulstow CE Primary School

Teaching Assistant 1:1 Vacancy

32.5 hrs per week required from November 2026

8.15am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday Grade 3 SCP 6-9

(Actual starting salary £21,904)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support an individual with an EHCP in Year 1.

You will need;

To have high expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child
To be able to communicate effectively with the child, parents, colleagues and outside agencies
To establish good working relationships with the class teacher, SENDCo and outside agencies
To have good organisational skills, keeping detailed records and updating assessments
To provide support for families and ensure partnership with home and school
To use initiative to work in a one-to-one or small group setting.

The successful applicant will:

Be qualified to minimum NVQ level 3 TA
Be educated to a good standard in English and Maths
Be able to challenge, motivate and foster independence in our pupils
Be hard working and passionate about engaging children in learning and overcoming barriers
Be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team
