Are you a Dams and Reservoirs Engineer  Are you ready to take up a vital role in some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative  and take a leading role in shaping the future We are looking for an energetic and experienced Principal Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to join our team within the Design & Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice of  play a vital role in delivering transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on landmark engineering projects both domestically and internationally.

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based.  This position is based in our Bristol or Swansea offices.

As a Principal Dams and Reservoir Engineer in the D&AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:

- Responsible for producingandreviewing technical deliverables such asdesign reports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work with defined scope.

Provide technical input into project design deliverablesforreservoir and hydraulicstructuresaspects of complex multi-disciplinary projects and work with the project management team to successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

Proven experience in coordinating or managingaengineering designdelivery teamfor adesignconsultancyincludingwithin a multi-disciplinary environment.

Requiresstrongknowledge and practical experience indesignofearth / concrete dams,flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility and construction logistics.

- Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM Regulations.

- Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.

- Experience inthe

Watermarket is essential.

Demonstrates strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively withindiverse multi-disciplinary teams.
