Location:
South West Wales (Commutable from Llanelli, Swansea, Carmarthen, Neath)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Consultant to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in South West Wales. This respected firm delivers high-quality solutions across a broad range of sectors, including environmental permitting, EIA, hydrology, geotechnical services, air quality, acoustics, and more.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in environmental sciences who’s looking to expand their skill set in a collaborative and technically diverse environment. You’ll benefit from hands-on project exposure, mentoring from senior professionals, and tailored training to accelerate your development.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the preparation and submission of Environmental Permit applications
Contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning Applications
Drafting technical reports, such as air quality, noise, and hydrogeological assessments
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on projects in waste, recycling, energy, and infrastructure
Engaging with clients and regulators as needed to ensure smooth project delivery
What We're Looking For:
6+ months of experience in an Environmental Consultancy setting
Degree qualified (BSc/MSc) in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, or a related subject
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Experience or working knowledge of Environmental Permitting is highly desirable (but not essential)
