We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager to lead the quality and compliance functions for a market‑leading vehicle bodybuilding operation.

Working closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams, you will embed a "safety-first" quality culture into every stage of the build‑from fabrication and welding through to final vehicle approval.

• Policy & Compliance:
  Oversee all QHSE policies and procedures across two manufacturing sites.
• Technical Standards:
  Ensure all vehicle bodybuilding and modifications strictly adhere to Type Approval (IVA, VCA, DVSA) and industry regulations.
• Systems Management:
  Develop and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 frameworks.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) to drive positive change.
• Regulatory Liaison:
  Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers regarding certifications.
• Safety & Training:
  Monitor COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER requirements while delivering QHSE training to staff.

• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  A proven track record in QHSE or Compliance within vehicle bodybuilding, automotive, or heavy engineering industries.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong awareness of Type Approval (IVA/VCA) and industry build standards.
• Communication:
  The ability to confidently liaise with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
• Proactive Approach: A "safety-first" mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to lead by example.
