Site Engineer

Your new company:
You'll be joining a respected civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure works across North Wales and the surrounding region. The business is progressing a significant civil package within a large‑scale energy and infrastructure scheme, requiring an experienced freelance engineer to support technical delivery on site.
Your new role:
As the Freelance Site Engineer, you'll take responsibility for setting out, QA and technical support across multiple civil work fronts. Key duties include:

Setting out for drainage, ducting, utilities and associated civil elements
Managing as‑built surveys, QA records and compliance documentation
Working closely with the site team to maintain the programme and resolve technical queries.
Ensuring high standards of accuracy, safety and reporting
Supporting smooth delivery of a complex regional infrastructure project
What you'll need to succeed:

Strong background as a Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure schemes

Experience with drainage, utilities, groundworks or heavy civil
Confident about using Leica/Trimble and producing clear QA documentation
CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications
Ability to work independently and maintain high technical standards
