Our client is a growing engineering company specialising in hygienic process design, membrane filtration systems, CIP systems, and stainless-steel fabrications.

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will have an engineering background, ideally in mechanical engineering, with strong problem‑solving skills, a professional approach, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.

• Work as part of the Technical Sales team
• Contact suppliers for information and competitive quotations
• Produce detailed technical quotations and proposals
• Process sales orders using Sage 200
• Create, maintain, and manage bills of materials (BOM’s)
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements
• Write technical visit reports and documentation
• Meet agreed targets, objectives, and project time frames
• Arrange and attend customer visits, engaging in technical discussions

• Engineering background (mechanical engineering preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• A well‑organised, self‑motivated, and methodical approach
• Willingness to travel for customer visits when required
