• Create high-quality, detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by engineers, and make modifications to existing drawings.
• Be proficient in the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Liaise with engineers to understand design requirements and construction techniques.
• Manage your workload and meet deadlines within a busy and dynamic team environment.
• Produce accurate, detailed, scale drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry, health and safety, and technical standards and protocols.
• Conduct site visits and surveys when required.
• Prepare working drawings for use throughout all stages of design, detailed design, construction and as-built documentation.
• Maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC in Civil Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent relevant qualifications and experience.

Experience

• Experience of working to regulatory, operational or project deadlines.

Knowledge & Skills

• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for customers, with the ability to take ownership and accountability for your work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret information, manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet regulatory and project deadlines.
• Understanding of Health and Safety requirements and safe working practices.

Hybrid working with an expectation of approximately three days per week in the office.

The role is based in South Wales; however, we welcome applications from candidates across Wales and may consider an alternative base location for the right candidate.
