Audit & Accounts Senior

Location: Swansea

Autograph Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting for an Audit Senior to join a forward-thinking practice offering a dynamic and supportive working environment. Our client is embracing change and innovation, redefining the way audit services are delivered.

As an Audit Senior, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the manager in planning, performing, and completing audit assignments.
  • Taking ownership of all aspects of audit fieldwork.
  • Being actively involved in the budget-setting process and ensuring that tasks are completed within the agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Preparing and reviewing high-quality audit documentation and drafting financial statements.
  • Managing and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Delegating tasks to junior team members, providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring to trainees when required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, audit team members, and the wider firm.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or part-qualified with a solid level of practical experience and exam progress.
  • A strong track record of leading onsite audits with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with a proactive approach to learning and continuous professional development.
  • A flexible attitude to work, taking full ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in numerical and data analysis with excellent attention to detail.
