The position of Head of Finance is a pivotal role within this company, offering the chance to lead financial operations and contribute to strategic projects that shape the organization's future. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Head of Finance will manage a team of two Finance Assistants and have full ownership of the finance function. Skills/experience required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in a finance/accounting environment, either in industry or practice.
• Proven ability to produce management accounts and lead financial processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in managing large volumes of data.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all areas of the business.
• Experience with systems such as Sage and Excel.
• Proactive approach to driving improvements and enhancing efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.

• Lead all aspects of financial accounting, controls, and compliance.
• Review and improve finance processes to enhance efficiency and automation.
• Provide clear and timely financial insights to department heads and budget holders.
• Own the management account process and reporting cycles.
• Engage in both strategic financial planning and day-to-day transactional finance.
• Collaborate with cricket, academy, commercial, operational, and events teams.
• Act as a liaison for auditors and external stakeholders.
• Work with the executive team to ensure the smooth running of the Finance and Payroll Department.
• Foster a strong internal finance team with a positive working culture.
