Are you organized, detail‑focused, and looking to build a successful career in finance? We're seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Associate to join our existing Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has great attention to detail, and wants to develop within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, credit notes and owning the investigation process of any discrepancies highlighted when reconciling supplier statements
- Responsible for working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely sign off requests to meet external SLAs, monitoring costs against budgets
- Generating weekly payment runs
- Identifying and processing inter‑company recharging in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and month‑end tasks
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports including compliance reporting where required
- Providing administrative support to the Financial Controller and wider team
- Experience in an accounts role
- Confident with numbers and basic accounting principles
- Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and time‑management
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- Studying towards or interested in AAT (or similar)
- Experience with systems like Wero, Sage or Quick Books
- Reliable and trustworthy with financial information
- A strong communicator and team player
- Positive, proactive, and willing to learn
- Able to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently
