SummaryThis is a newly created position, reporting directly to the COO, where you’ll own financial operations, reporting, and planning. You’ll bring investor-ready insights, improve financial processes, and act as a trusted voice in strategic decision-making.
You’ll be the financial backbone of the business, from day-to-day accounting to advising the board on key investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage day-to-day finance operations including month-end close, reporting, and forecasting
- Build scalable finance processes and controls to support rapid growth
- Own the production of management accounts and financial statements
- Partner with leadership on financial planning, modelling, and scenario analysis
- Prepare board and investor reports that support funding rounds and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, accountants, and external advisors
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
- Senior finance experience in a SaaS, tech, or VC-backed business
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and modelling skills
- Experience supporting or leading investor reporting, fundraising, or due diligence
- Proven ability to build scalable finance systems and processes
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort in fast-paced scale-up environments
