We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the education sector for the position of Finance Manager, based in the Swansea area. This is a temporary assignment suited to an experienced finance professional looking to contribute to an organisation committed to educational excellence.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation, supporting its continued delivery of high-quality education. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to apply their expertise within a purposeful and dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
Overseeing budgeting processes and financial forecasting
Preparing monthly financial statements and ensuring regulatory compliance
Collaborating with departments across the organisation to support financial planning and decision-making
Providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
Leading a small team and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within the education sector
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues
A collaborative approach with strong team-working skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
