Finance Officer

Your new role As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities and helping maintain strong financial controls across the business.

This is a varied role offering exposure to transactional finance, reconciliations, reporting and stakeholder support, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their finance career within a growing organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and maintaining purchase and sales ledger transactions Completing bank, balance sheet and control account reconciliations Supporting month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments Monitoring customer accounts and assisting with credit control activities Processing supplier payments and resolving finance-related queries Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Preparing financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders Maintaining accurate finance records and supporting documentation Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements Supporting continuous improvement projects within the finance department What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a finance, accounts or finance administration role Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
