Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant Swansea | Up to £39,000 | Hybrid Yolk Recruitment is working with a growing organisation in Swansea to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to take responsibility for management accounting, month-end processes and financial reporting, while supporting and overseeing two junior ledger clerks.

The Role Reporting into the senior finance team, you will be responsible for:
Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting. Completing month-end journals, reconciliations and financial analysis. Producing cash flow reports and supporting cash flow forecasting. Reviewing financial information and investigating variances. Managing and overseeing the day-to-day work of two junior ledger clerks. Supporting the wider finance team with reporting, analysis and accounting requirements. Assisting with the ongoing improvement of finance processes and controls.

Ensuring financial information is accurate and produced within agreed deadlines. About You The successful candidate will have experience within a management accounting environment, with a good understanding of month-end accounting, management accounts and financial reporting. You will also have experience working with cash flow information and be comfortable supporting or overseeing more junior members of a finance team. This role would suit an Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant or experienced Finance Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
