Role Description

The Mortgage Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Swansea. The role involves processing mortgage applications, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients, lenders, and internal teams to obtain required information, schedule appointments, and provide updates on application progress. The Mortgage Administrator supports compliance by ensuring all files meet regulatory standards and company policies.

The role also includes preparing reports, handling routine inquiries, and contributing to an efficient, client-focused service experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office software and data entry systems, including spreadsheets, document management, and email tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to client and stakeholder interactions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial documents, application forms, and client information.
  • Understanding of mortgage and insurance products, or a strong interest in learning about financial services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Prior experience in banking, finance, or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Relevant education in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
