Management Accountant - FTC

Position: Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC
Hays Senior Finance are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a large international manufacturing organisation based in Swansea on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting period of transformation, as it implements a new ERP system across the group. Working as part of a sizeable finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day finance operations while supporting multiple European entities.

This is a broad and varied position, offering exposure to management accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and stakeholder support within a complex manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to gain valuable experience during a major business transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting. Support month-end activities, including journals and accruals. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Provide financial analysis and commentary. Support financial controls, audits and compliance. Partner with stakeholders across the business. Support finance process improvements and ERP implementation activities.

What We're Looking For:

Part-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Manufacturing finance experience is essential. Previous management accounting experience. Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation skills. Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience. Strong Excel and financial systems skills. ERP system experience desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities. Why Join?
