About the Role

Working closely with the Care Manager and nursing team, you will play a key role in maintaining excellent standards of care and supporting colleagues to deliver positive outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the care team during shifts
  • Providing hands-on care and support to residents
  • Supervising and mentoring colleagues
  • Supporting supervisions and performance management processes
  • Monitoring residents' physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Promoting person-centred care and positive resident experiences
  • Administering medication where trained and authorised
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider multidisciplinary teams

What We're Looking For

  • Previous care experience, ideally with supervisory responsibilities
  • QCF Level 3 or willingness to work towards it
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and support colleagues
  • Positive, professional and caring approach
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding care
