Caregiver, Direct Support Professional/ Direct Care
Location: Swansea, SA6 5AP
Salary: Up to £14.42 per hour; overtime opportunities
Contract: Full-time and part-time available
Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends
At M&D Care, we are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers in our family oriented organisation to join our Specialist Residential Services across South Wales. You will support adults with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism to live meaningful, fulfilling lives in their home within our well-equipped residential homes.

Every day will be different, but your role may include:
- Supporting people with daily living activities
- Encouraging independence and life skills
- Assisting with community activities, hobbies and interests
- Providing emotional and behavioural support
- Supporting with personal care when required, and promoting dignity and choice in all areas of someone’s day
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Working closely with families and healthcare professionals

- Reliable and committed and calm under pressure
- Good communicators who are passionate about supporting those in our care to reach their full potential.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work flexibly across a rota including weekends
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience working within care or support services
- QCF Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care qualification
- Experience supporting people with complex needs, autism or learning disabilities
