In this role you will define our cloud direction, establish robust governance, and act as a trusted advisor across IT, Cyber, and the wider business. If you thrive on combining deep technical expertise with leadership, strategy, and impact, this role offers a real opportunity to leave your mark.

Working closely with Cyber Compliance, engineering teams, and external partners, you will enable teams to innovate quickly while maintaining strong controls and accountability.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design and champion scalable, resilient, high‑availability cloud architectures across Azure and AWS.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive Cloud Strategy and lifecycle, aligned with business and technology goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping teams design secure, compliant cloud solutions that meet business needs.
  • Establish, operate, and continuously improve cloud governance, policies, and controls.
  • Partner closely with Cyber Compliance to ensure alignment with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2, CRA).
  • Lead a Cloud Governance Board, overseeing policy compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

  • Embed security, resilience, and least‑privilege principles into architecture, automation, and operating models.
  • Own the cloud budget, including forecasting, cost monitoring, and reporting by platform and consuming team.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation covering architectures, operations, and workflows.
  • Manage cloud platform providers and support partners, ensuring performance meets expectations and identifying alternatives where required.
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill teams to operate confidently and independently in the cloud—without compromising governance.
  • Share knowledge, promote best practice, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
About You

  • Strong focus on performance optimisation, cost management, and policy creation, enforcement, and reporting
  • Advanced automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code skills (Terraform, ARM), with solid Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Robust knowledge of networking and security principles (Secure by Design, Least Privilege), monitoring and reporting (Azure Monitor, Power BI), and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Confident, analytical, and pragmatic communicator who works effectively both independently and collaboratively, with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Azure‑aligned certifications (e.g. AZ‑305) and comfortable with on‑site presence, occasional international travel, and operating in high‑autonomy, strategically influential roles
What’s in It for You
  • Be a part of an ambitious, fast‑growing, international company with a friendly and inclusive culture
