IT Support
We're hiring two Technical End-User Migration Engineers to join a global media and data business currently undertaking a large-scale IT separation and migration programme. This is a hands‑on, user-facing role supporting the migration of end users from one corporate IT environment to another, covering everything from device rebuilds and domain joins to VPN reconfiguration and identity management.
What You’ll Be DoingYou'll be the go-to person when migrations don't go to plan. The team has built and refined the migration process, scripts are in place, the architecture is set, but with thousands of users to migrate globally, things inevitably go wrong. Your job is to troubleshoot, remediate, and get users back up and running quickly.
Day to day, that means:
- Supporting end users through the migration process, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Troubleshooting problems across VPN (Palo Alto Prisma Access / Global Protect), Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows 11, and Office 365.
- Working closely with a small, senior infrastructure team to elevate intelligently and feedback on recurring issues.
- Helping to improve the migration process over time by identifying patterns and suggesting fixes.
- Supporting migrations across multiple regions, including the UK, Nordics, Turkey, and Latin America.
This isn’t an architecture or design role! The solution is built. We need someone who can roll their sleeves up, talk to users, and fix things.
You should have:
- A broad, practical knowledge of Windows desktop environments, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365.
- Experience with VPN technologies, ideally Palo Alto Prisma Access and/or Global Protect.
- Experience with Palo Alto FW Policy Management – SSL Decryption/Troubleshooting.
- A mid‑level understanding of networking, enough to diagnose connectivity and access issues confidently.
- Strong communication skills, you'll be speaking directly with end-users and need to explain technical issues clearly.
- The ability to ask the right questions when escalating to senior engineers.
- A proactive, hungry attitude! This is a fast‑paced delivery environment with no room for passengers.
- Any additional language skills (there is significant activity across Latin America).
- Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programmes.
- Background in multi‑client environments where you've worked directly with end users on site or remotely.
Contracting day rate outside IR35, a brilliant opportunity to build deep, hands‑on expertise across modern enterprise technologies (Prisma Access, Azure, Active Directory, etc) within a genuinely complex, global migration programme. The team is small, the exposure is huge, and by the end of this engagement, you'll walk away with specialist‑level knowledge in these platforms.
