Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements
  • We are looking for someone with a solid background as a 2nd Line Support Technician/Engineer, or in a similar role, within an IT or MSP environment.
  • We need strong expertise in Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with cloud tools such as Azure, Entra , and Intune is highly desired.
  • Experience with VoIP phone systems, connectivity, and audio‑visual setups is a strong advantage.
  • We ideally want certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MS900, AZ900, or MD100/101/102, or someone working towards them.
  • We need a friendly, confident phone manner and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly without jargon.
Responsibilities
  • We want you to take ownership of escalated 2nd‑line incidents and work with 1st‑line teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues.
  • We need you to configure and maintain computer hardware, routers, switches, access points, and business connectivity equipment.
  • We want you to support cloud environments using the Microsoft suite, including Admin Centre, Azure, Entra , and Intune.
  • We need you to provide hands‑on support for VoIP systems and Teams Meeting Room environments, including AV/CMS.
  • We want you to mentor 1st‑line technicians and work with 3rd‑line engineers to identify recurring ticket trends and implement permanent fixes.
