Trainee Conveyancer​/Junior Fee Earner - Conveyancing; not build

Position Overview

HCB Widdows Mason is excited to offer an opportunity for a Trainee Conveyancer/Junior Fee Earner to join our established conveyancing team in Swansea. This role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their legal career in residential conveyancing, with a focus on non-new build transactions.

• Assisting in managing a caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring smooth progression from instruction to completion.
• Conducting property searches and due diligence as required.
• Supporting senior team members in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.
• Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction process.
• Providing excellent customer service and timely updates to clients regarding their cases.
• Learning to navigate the legal software and case management systems used in the firm.
• Participating in training sessions and learning opportunities to enhance your conveyancing knowledge.

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in conveyancing or property law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in a legal setting or customer‑facing role is advantageous but not essential.
• Relevant qualifications in law or similar field are preferred.
