At Green Flag, you'll help customers get back on the road when they need it most. You'll use your diagnostic and problem-solving skills every day, working independently while being supported by one of the UK's leading insurers, Aviva.

As a Roadside Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for customers who have broken down, providing expert assistance and excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing vehicle faults and carrying out roadside repairs
• Completing tyre repairs and wheel changes
• Testing and replacing batteries
• Providing fuel assistance when required
• Explaining faults and solutions clearly to customers
• Working independently using a fully equipped Green Flag patrol vehicle
• Helping customers get safely back on the road as quickly as possible

Every day is different, making this a great role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working independently.

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• A strong mechanical background with good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A full UK Category B driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) preferred, although relevant hands‑on experience or apprenticeship experience will also be considered
• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
• A commitment to safe working practices
• The ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A calm and professional approach when helping customers
