As an Environmental Compliance Manager, you will lead and support the development and delivery of a wide range of regulatory and technical programmes focusing on Extended Producer Responsibility. The position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced regulatory professional in a growing technical team with an international client portfolio. The ideal candidates will excel at interacting with multi-national clients in a technical, Client Relationship Management and product focused capacity.
You will provide support to several key clients and will work on several different projects at a time.
The company has an ethos of trust, accountability and absolute discretion derived from senior experience within blue chip organizations. The candidate will provide environmental regulatory consultancy advice across our Clients’ portfolio of products.
MissionAccountable for ongoing management of take-back programs operations, reporting (end-to-end), and related activities, under the CEE regional program manager leadership, ensuring it meets the agreed requirements including Cost-effectiveness, Reliability, Usability, and Performance.
Responsibilities- Delivery of European and Global external compliance and consultancy service to international producers
- Transforming requests from producers into service delivery quotations
- Assessing customer Extended Producer Obligations
- Account management of a few customers, in multiple locations across the globe
- Project management delivery of new services to customers
- Managing member’s registrations and consolidating communications
- Managing data reporting and delivery
- Setting up and controlling invoicing flow
- Keeping on top of regulatory and market changes to update internal network and tools
- Development and expansion of current service offerings
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Strong computer literacy, at least intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Additional languages are desirable
- Self-motivated and able to work within a team environment
- 2-5 years within an environmental regulatory role
- Experience with project management
- Working knowledge of WEEE, Batteries and Packaging Regulations in EMEA
- Experience in global WEEE, Batteries and Packaging Regulations is an advantage
- Educated to Degree level
- Competitive salary dependent on skills and experience
