NDT Technician (PCN Level
2) Salary £18.60 per hour Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday Unit House, Elba Business Park, Elba Crescent, Swansea, SA1 8QE
The Sterling Thermal Technology Wales team is fast-growing and ambitious, working together to partner and to pioneer at the forefront of our industry. What we create together matters. The role We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician with a minimum of 2 years industry experience to carry out non-destructive testing and inspection activities on pressure vessels and associated components within the oil and gas / Power industries.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet industry standards, customer specification and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities Perform non-destructive testing on pressure vessels, welds and fabricated components. Conduct inspections using:
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) Radiographic Testing (RT) Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain quality documentation. Work closely with production, welding and quality teams to resolve inspection findings. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years experience as an NDT Technician PCN Level 2 Certification in: MT PT RT UT Experience in oil and gas industry. Knowledge and experience inspecting pressure vessels, welded fabrications and associated components. Ability to interpret engineering drawing and welding documentation.
