Setter and Team Leader

Do you have experience in setting various production machinery? Are you looking for a step up into more of a Team Lead role? Can you complete shift hours - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday? As customer demand increases there will be an expectation to run your line on 2 and 3 shifts, so the hours will fluctuate to reflect this and will then include nights - 10pm - 6am.

This is a temporary position with a view to becoming permanent after 3 months training. If it is yes to the above then please apply. Your main focus will be to: set/run/maintain and changeover high output machines in line with production targets ensure that safe working practices are adhered to ensure machines are kept in a good safe working condition ensure that the machines run to the required standards of quality and output ensure all documentation is in order and completed Your Line Leader role will be to: complete on-the-job training of other personnel monitor OEE ensure output quality level is met be involved in continuous improvement activities - such as increase in up-time/decrease in downtime keep accurate information regarding the fault and downtime monitor raw material usage and quality This is a hands on role for someone who has a passion to succeed and improve and bring a team with them on the journey!
