** Machine Operator
** to our busy team.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment setting and operating machinery in a sheet metal environment.  
** Desired experience and qualifications
*** Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
* Understanding of metal processing, stamping, presswork, or coil-fed production lines.
* Ability to set up and adjust feed lengths, speeds, and guides.
* Experience loading and handling steel, metal coils.
* Knowledge of quality inspection techniques using gauges, micrometres, or measuring equipment.
* Basic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Safe use of moving machinery and guarding systems.
* Manual handling and overhead crane operation (often required for loading coils).
* Awareness of PUWER regulations if working in the UK.
* Understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Reading engineering drawings.
* Performing first-off and in-process quality checks.
* Recording production data.
* Identifying material defects.
* Working to production targets and KPIs.
* Basic maintenance and lubrication tasks.
** Beneficial Qualifications
*** Counterbalance FLT licence.
* Overhead crane certificate.
* Manufacturing NVQ Level 2 or 3.
* Mechanical engineering or production engineering qualifications.
* Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training.
