We are seeking a proactive and creative Tourism Marketing Officer to support the delivery of tourism-related marketing activity across campaigns, PR, digital content, research, and partner engagement. You will contribute to high-profile projects that enhance the destination's visibility, generate media interest, and ensure strategic use of tourism assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate permissions and work with landowners and partners to enable photography and videography for campaigns.
- Overseeing asset management and usage rights.
- Support procurement, project planning, and reporting to ensure timely and budget-aligned delivery.
- Drive PR and media engagement by handling media enquiries, organising press/influencer visits, and reporting on media coverage.
- Create and manage digital content for social media and campaigns, ensuring assets are on-brand and delivered on schedule.
- Undertake general marketing tasks such as writing blogs, updating web content, supporting CRM and partner engagement, and contributing to new initiatives.
- Support research activities by maintaining data, compiling reports, and assisting with research projects.
- Provide cross-functional support to the wider Tourism & Marketing team to help achieve strategic objectives.
You will work collaboratively across the Destination Management & Marketing team.
Person Specification includes:
- Degree-level education in tourism, marketing, communications, or related discipline (CIM qualification desirable).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing roles.
- Strong writing, organisational, and IT skills.
- Experience with digital platforms and social media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise with stakeholders.
