Marketing Event Executive

✨ About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, organised, and creative Marketing Executive (PR & Events) who will play a key role in expanding Avendra’s visibility across the UK, Ireland, and Europe
.

You’ll help shape how we show up in our markets (hospitality, education, healthcare) - through events, PR, editorial outreach, partnerships, and digital channels - and support our teams with high-quality marketing that drives awareness and growth.

• Lead PR activity, including press releases, awards, and opinion pieces, securing media coverage, expert commentary, and thought-leadership opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with journalists and industry associations, maximising partnership value.
• Arrange speaking slots across podcasts, webinars, panels, and conferences.
• Manage Avendra’s presence at events and exhibitions, from logistics to delivery.
• Track and report on activities to measure impact, demonstrate ROI, and improve future campaigns.

• Create engaging content for digital channels, social media, email campaigns, case studies, and internal updates.
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to gather content and tell compelling stories.
• Work closely with the wider European and Global teams.
• Coordinate with 3rd party partners to deliver high-quality outputs.

• 3+ years’ experience in marketing, PR, communications, events
• Strong writing skills & ability to craft engaging content
• Experience with PR outreach & media engagement
• Comfortable with digital tools, social platforms, email marketing systems
• Proactive approach & strong relationship-building skills
• Experience in securing editorial placements, expert commentary, or speaker slots.
• Familiarity with paid/unpaid media and sponsorship opportunities.
• Experience in hospitality, education, healthcare, or procurement environments.
