About UIB

Union Income Benefit (UIB) is a trusted, purpose-driven organisation supporting more than 2.5 million Trade Union members across the UK. As part of a well-established FCA-regulated financial services group, we've been helping working people for over 25 years and are proud to hold Investors in People accreditation.

Alongside our insurance business, UIB operates a growing Rewards platform with a simple goal: helping Trade Union members across the UK make their money go further.

We partner with some of the UK's leading Trade Unions to negotiate exclusive offers and discounts that members won't find elsewhere. Thanks to the collective buying power of our members, we help provide access to significant savings on everyday spending, including dining, retail, travel, fashion, leisure and more.

We're continuing to grow our Rewards proposition and are looking for talented people who can help develop our affiliate partnerships, reward offers and member experience.

This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and developing our affiliate partnerships and rewards platform during an exciting period of growth.

The Role

We're looking for an Affiliates & Rewards Executive to support the growth and success of our affiliate partnerships and rewards platform.

Working closely with the Head of Rewards, Marketing, UX, Technology and Finance teams, you'll help manage affiliate and reward partnerships, coordinate campaigns, monitor performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement and commercial growth. You'll play a key role in helping us expand our partner network, optimise existing relationships and deliver value for both our members and commercial partners.

This role would suit someone who understands the affiliate space and has experience working with affiliate networks, publishers, gift card programmes or partnership-based businesses. We're looking for somebody commercially aware, proactive and able to use their initiative to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day management of affiliate and rewards partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks, publishers and commercial partners.
  • Coordinate campaigns, offers and promotions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor affiliate performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and engagement.
  • Produce reports and analyse performance trends.
  • Assist with onboarding new partners and supporting existing partner relationships.
  • Maintain accurate partnership, tracking and reporting records.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Technology, UX and Customer Service teams.
  • Support the development of customer journeys and affiliate-related website content.
  • Keep up to date with affiliate marketing trends, market developments and competitor activity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer engagement and commercial performance.
What We're Looking For

We're less concerned about qualifications and more interested in relevant experience, commercial awareness and attitude.

Ideally, you'll have:
  • Experience working within an affiliate network, publisher environment, rewards platform, gift card programme or partnership-focused role.
  • A solid understanding of affiliate marketing and performance partnerships.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Confidence using your own initiative and solving problems independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • A genuine interest in keeping up to date with affiliate, rewards and digital marketing…
