Clinical Lead, Nursing

Overview

We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse who will bring compassion, expertise, and leadership to our care homes across the country.

• Provide specialist nursing support and advice to the team.
• Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence.
• Supervise, coach and mentor colleagues to deliver an exceptional, empathetic care service.
• Act as a practice supervisor and assessor for students and junior staff.
• Ensure clinical care exceeds professional, statutory, regulatory and legal standards.
• Model professional behaviour and maintain effective verbal and written communication.
• Advocate a person‑centred care approach for residents and their families.
• Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and respond appropriately, including safeguarding training, advice and escalation where necessary.

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Commitment to the NMC standards of practice.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passion for mentoring, coaching and supporting the professional development of colleagues.
• Experience in residential or dementia care is desirable.
