Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Swansea Internal Medicine Office

Location:

4 Park Place, Swansea, IL.

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, or potential health issues. Responsibilities include charting, maintaining metrics, performing delegated duties under supervision of the Office Manager or physician, and assisting in examination and treatment of patients.

• Interview patients and assess health status.
• Measure vital signs: pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Administer injections.
• Document information in patient chart or electronic medical record.
• Perform delegated duties as required.

• Formal education from an accredited LPN school, evidenced by graduation certificate.
• Current state licensure and CPR certification.
• Minimum one year experience in ambulatory care.
• Commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and other team members.
