Veterinary Surgeon – Weekend, Part‑Time

. This is a part‑time annualised contract that requires weekend work only – two weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am‑7:30 pm.

Carmarthen Veterinary Centre is a purpose‑built, award‑winning hospital in the heart of West Wales. It provides emergency and critical‑care support for 26 practices out of hours, with a recent CT scanner and a highly experienced, supportive team.

• Provide patient consultation and general surgery services on weekends.
• Work collaboratively with 8 small animal vets and nursing staff to deliver high‑quality care.
• Participate in clinical discussions and decision‑making.
• Support the wider team in a diverse workload.

• 3 + years of veterinary experience, particularly in consults and general surgery.
• Confidence in independent practice and teamwork.
• Preferably a surgical bias and a member of the RCVS.

• A consult/surgery mix with opportunities for skill development.
• Progression, training and surgical preference ideal.
• Consult‑only options available if preferred.
• Dedicated Mi Night Vet  team support.
