Associate Manager, Pharmaceutical Development reporting into Manager, Pharmaceutical Development. These positions will be based in Cwmbran and will involve conducting pharmaceutical product analysis for our customers to a high degree of precision and efficiency.

Role Overview
  • To lead and manage a team of Senior Scientists and Pharmaceutical Analysts.
  • To provide scientific and technical leadership to project teams and clients.

Role Overview General
  • To inspire all departmental team members by personal example and good work ethic, ensuring alignment to the work being conducted to the values, vision and core strategy.
  • Responsible for the management and leadership of Senior Scientists and Pharmaceutical Analysts, which includes .
  • Accountable for organising and planning project activities with your group utilising the most effective use of equipment, resources and skills dependent upon customer requirements.
  • Ensuring the scientific team working on projects within the group/project team are sufficiently trained and competent to perform the requested tasks.
  • Lead objective setting, performance evaluations and the generation of personal develop plans for your team.
  • Participate in the recruitment process of new team members.
  • Provide support and supervision, as required to team members to ensure experimental tasks are carried out with scientific rigour and in accordance with appropriate SOPs.
  • Support and deputise for the Head of Department as required, representing your team and presenting a broad overview of progress, successes and challenges as requested.
