Overview

Responsibilities- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, optimise device efficacy, and enhance user outcomes.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support research findings and product improvements.
- Develop prototypes for proof‑of‑principle studies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions into physical products.
- Maintain accurate records of research processes, results, and methodologies, and prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior researchers, clinicians, and cross‑departmental teams to integrate solutions into prototypes and products, providing technical support during clinical studies and validation processes.
- Analyse user data and feedback to refine device features and improve outcomes for diverse skin wellness applications.
- Ensure all research activities align with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Support research and development through conducting experiments and analysing data.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions into products.
- Stay updated and document work.
- Adhere to compliance standards.
- 1‑3 years of research & development experience preferably in skincare, medical devices, or a related industry (MSc projects considered).
- Understanding of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods.
- Background in engineering, bio‑engineering, chemistry or a related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of routine lab analysis and biological compounds.
- Experience in using Arduino, Lab View or similar.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
