Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Hours:

16 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour.

Pay depends on age:

• Ages 16-20: £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do, such as moving between deliveries, till work, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable and dependable as part of a small team; deliver best performance on every shift and support colleagues
• Flexible with shift times, willing to cover different hours when teammates are on holiday; rota planned three weeks in advance and commitments taken into account
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check (email based confirmation of employment history against HMRC records)
