Availability Window
The following times represent the availability windows during which staff are needed. You will be scheduled to work within these times and will receive at least three weeks' notice of your shifts.
- Tuesday: 16:00 – 22:00
- Wednesday: 14:00 – 20:00
- Friday: 11:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 15:15 – 22:00
Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts at £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would prefer to work fewer hours, a minimum of 12 hours per week is also available.
While we schedule your contracted hours within the aforementioned windows, we are happy to support flexibility. If your preferred hours closely match our advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. This role requires a doer with a variety of responsibilities across the store, including service, picking, replenishment and safety practices.

- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
- Show a passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile.
- Build rapport with customers, ensuring they leave with a great shopping experience.
- Take initiative and make customer‑centric decisions.
